Jane Malone's bags were packed, her nails were done at a Washington salon, and her handmade evening gown ready to be worn for the first time in more than 30 years - all of this was leading up to the Missouri Health Care Association's (MHCA) annual Ms. Missouri Nursing Home Pageant. The pageant took place Wednesday, Aug. 25 at the Branson Convention Center and Malone was named first runner-up.
